About me

Since I was a little girl, I have always been curious about painting. It was a tradition in my family to study art masterpieces from different eras, cultures, and movements. Looking through art books, I immersed myself in the art world. However, I finally chose to study German philology and Philosophy, which were my other passions.

I worked as a teacher at a university and was also employed in the tourism industry. And over the years, my dedication to art guided me through European museums and exhibitions, occasionally inspiring me to create my own paintings. Nevertheless, it was not until the last few years that the painting process completely devoured me and started to be my main occupation.

I have experienced different kinds of brushes and palette knives with watercolors, oil, and acrylic colors. Oil has become my favorite medium. I am fascinated by the way large brushes leave bizarre marks on the canvas. The result may be very different from my intentions and expectations, but that is a real miracle I every time get surprised about.

I quickly find inspiration while walking through Barcelona or the mountains surrounding it. And in general, wherever I travel, I am always inspired by nature and people.
